Gabe Lee - Director of Golf
Gabe Lee is a former playing professional that competed in PGA, Web.com and Mackenzie Tour sanctioned events. Over his career, he has trained with some of the games top instructors, including Grant Waite, as well as LPGA and KLPGA professionals such as Misun Cho and Kelly Shon.
Now serving as Partner & Director of Golf at LoungeX, Gabe leads all golf operations, instruction, and player development programs. His approach combines tour-level expertise, modern technology, and a community driven philosophy to help golfers of all skill levels improve year-round.
Prior to joining Lounge X, Gabe built a strong following teaching throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Long Island area. His teaching background includes work at Alley Pond Golf Center in Douglaston and Five Iron Golf, where he helped hundreds of golfers develop lasting fundamentals and consistency.

John Yu - Head Professional
John Yu began playing golf at the age of 8 and started competing in AJGA and USGA events by the age of 13. He participated in national events such as the 2011 US Junior Amateur and the 2013 US Public Links Amateur.
He went on to play collegiate Division II golf at Barry University, where his team won the Division II National Championship in both 2012 and 2013. His team was ranked #1 in NCAA Division II from 2011 to 2014.
Upon graduation, John began his teaching career in 2019 as an Assistant Golf Professional at Sands Point Golf Club, where he spent 4 seasons teaching and being involved in golf operations.
Over the years, John has taught around 2,000 lessons, focusing on each individual's swing and mechanics that work best for them. He takes pride in ensuring each student learns while also making the experience fun and simple.
